What is Moi-Muse?
Moi-Muse is a booking marketplace for beauty services. Clients (muses) book independent artistes and Tastemaker houses — verified salons — for hair, nails, lashes, barbering, and more, with real availability and the full price shown before booking.
Where is Moi-Muse available?
Moi-Muse is launching in Beaumont, CA and nearby communities in the San Gorgonio Pass, including Banning, Cherry Valley, Calimesa, Yucaipa.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Browsing is free and open to everyone. To book, you create a profile and verify your email, phone, and identity, and add a profile photo.
How do deposits work?
Some services take a deposit to hold your time. The deposit always comes off your total — it is never an extra charge. Card payments are processed by Stripe; Moi-Muse never sees or stores card details.
Can I book somewhere other than where I live?
Yes. Travel mode lets you search a different city for a trip, without changing your home location.
How do artistes join Moi-Muse?
By invitation. An artiste invited by a Silver-tier or higher artiste starts at Gold. An artiste signed by the Moi-Muse team starts at Silver. An artiste hired by a Tastemaker house starts at the tier that house chooses, from Copper to Platinum.
What are artiste tiers?
Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Partner. Gold is the level at which an artiste can operate fully independently. Tiers are earned — through invitations, house vouches, or a reviewed request — never bought.
How does an artiste move up a tier?
Three ways: request a review at any time with proof of experience, which a Moi-Muse administrator decides; get a vouch from a verified Tastemaker house, which moves her to Gold; or get vouches from two different verified houses, which makes her Partner.
What does an artiste need before her card goes live?
A verified email, phone, and identity; a profile photo; a cosmetology license number; a bio; at least one social account and one review site; where she works (an address, or mobile); three specialty services; and three photos for each of those services.
What is a Tastemaker house?
A Tastemaker house is a verified salon on Moi-Muse. It verifies its business (EIN and establishment license), hires artistes at a starting tier it chooses, develops their talent, and shows muses who is working on its floor.
How do artistes earn on product sales?
When a muse buys a product an artiste used on her, the artiste earns a share of the brand's affiliate payout by tier: 25% at Copper, 40% at Silver, 60% at Gold, and 75% at Platinum and Partner. For bookings sourced through a Tastemaker house, the house earns 80% of the affiliate payout instead.
Does a paid plan change what an artiste earns?
No. An optional expanded menu, coming soon, adds capacity — more services, fuller galleries, and deeper client tools. Earnings are set by tier alone and never by plan.
Is my information private?
Your home address and location details are private to you. Identity is verified before booking, and payments are handled by Stripe.
